Just picked-up an Atlas N-Scale GP-7 phase 2 Bangor & Aroostook off eBay for about $40 bucks - less than half the retail according to Walthers, where it is discontinued. A very good deal on a smooth running locomotive.
This gives me three* N-Scale engines now - one each from the BAR, CN, and MEC. Is the interchange of the three prototypical? Probably not. Don't care. Just wait until I get a B&M too.
*Not including the non-functional Lifelike, and Arnold Southern Pacifics from highschool

Progress has been glacial, I haven't had the time or money (mostly money) to do very much at all.
Here are some picts of the current state of the railroad. I temporarily assembled a few buildings with masking tape, and plan on replacing the road system with something better, when I can.
