I suppose it depends on the obsessiveness of the Railroad fan. I am not sure if you are aware of the word Trainspotter but in the U.K. these were strangely dressed young men who collected the registrations of trains in a notebook by standing in busy termini for hours.
They were considered to be very strange and unlikely to marry.
